As the holiday season is approaching, the hunt for the perfect gift for that special person is getting harder by the minute. A while ago I've asked my friend Melenie which vanity items she like to indulge and break the bank on?  Without any hesitations she said Perfume, " I usually set in front of my vanity, pat my face with fresh minty water and then spray a little bit of perfume on my finger tips, rub my neck and elbows. I learned to do that from my mother and it just makes me feel special everyday". Thus here is some suggestions.

Now that your soul has entered my all-too-present flesh
And made with it a soul in kind,

The breathing swing and sway of your every movement
Makes an impression on the wax of my surrendering will.
My mind is but a pillow

My newly-molded soul is alight with

South African Adventure

While I'm waiting to board on my connecting flight. I thought of taking a few minutes from the duty free shops and the world class boutiques at Abu Dhabi International Airport to introduce to you this months special feature. Africa has always been the land of hidden treasures and a major fashion inspiration from the safari dresses to the animals prints, snake skin and crocodiles handbags. Wither you are in love with this magical continent or not Africa has lots to give and tell.

Thus while I'm moving into one of the most beautiful African cities Cape Town, I'll be feature some of the most wonderful editorials. designers, artistes and fashionistas of the African continent, thus September is the official African Month in Fashion 101.     

PSA: Lets Save The Horn Of African

A couple of days ago, I have received a distressed e-mail from WFP executive director Josette Sheeran explaining to me the situation in the horn of Africa and how the famine has affected so many people. "The famine is taking countless lives, mostly children. We’ve been scaling up our operations for six months, but Somalia has been hit especially hard by consecutive droughts and an ongoing conflict that has limited humanitarian access." Sheeran explains. 


"The suffering is terrible across the Horn of Africa. In Kenya, lack of water and high food prices are causing a dramatic rise in the number of severely malnourished children. At the refugee camps in Dadaab, which I visited on Saturday, we’re providing three-week food rations to families arriving from Somalia, many of whom haven’t eaten for days." Shaeeran adds. 


I have took it as my personal responsibility to work and help with the WFP in raising funds and helping powerless people in Africa, Asia, Americas and all over the world. As a WFP partner I have in rolled my self in we feedback, a WFP initiative to raise funds for the humanitarian aid in places like the horn of Africa.
